Can I get a drug test today?

What is the difference between an instant result and a confirmed result?
An instant (point-of-care) screen reads the urine sample at the clinic and can return a negative the same visit. Any non-negative is sent to a certified reference lab for GC/MS or LC/MS confirmation. We report negatives the same day and report confirmed results in 24 to 72 hours.
