Avoid using hair products (gels, sprays) on the collection day if possible. We need about 1.5 inches of hair from the back of the head — we trim it close to the scalp, but the cut is small and barely noticeable.

Getting your results
Negative urine samples are typically returned same day. Non-negatives go through confirmation gas chromatography / mass spectrometry at our reference lab, which extends the turnaround to 24–72 hours. Hair-follicle results take 5–7 business days. All results are delivered through our secure online portal or sent directly to the requesting party (employer, court, attorney) under chain-of-custody.

Yes. We follow chain-of-custody for employer, DOT, and court-ordered tests and can transmit results to the requesting party. Bring any forms or barcodes they have issued.
What if I take prescription medications?
Bring a list of your current prescriptions, including dose and prescriber. If a result flags positive for a substance your prescription explains, a Medical Review Officer (MRO) can verify the prescription and report the result as negative.
Will dyeing or bleaching my hair affect the result?
