Get the cleanest hormone result on the first draw
Most hormones peak in the morning. Schedule your draw between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m. when possible — especially for testosterone, cortisol, and DHEA. For women tracking menstrual-cycle hormones (estradiol, progesterone, LH, FSH), the day of the cycle matters more than the time of day. Call ahead and we’ll help you pick the right day.
Fasting is not required for most hormone panels. If your draw is paired with a metabolic panel (glucose, insulin, lipid), an 8-to-12-hour fast is recommended. Take your normal medications unless your prescriber has instructed otherwise.
Hormone results post to your secure online portal within 24 to 72 hours. The comprehensive panel takes 3 to 5 business days because it includes specialty markers. You can share or print results directly from the portal and bring them to any provider you choose.
